First Night - Seaside Heights, NJ

December 31st is one of the few off-season winter days to enjoy some fun on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. If you want some cheap, as in free, fun you can catch the fireworks at 5:30 P.M. Reasonably priced and almost free ($5 per person) is the daytime boardwalk entertainment. Admission to the daytime event is regulated by $5 bracelets. These can be purchased at the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall beginning on November 27. You can also purchase bracelets during the day on the boardwalk on the 31st.

What is being offered for $5? There will be jugglers, face painters, balloon makers, caricature artists, and more. There is also a drawing for two $250 gift baskets. The drawing is at the end of the boardwalk events (11 AM to 5 PM), before the 5:30 fireworks.
