Mardi Gras

SEASIDE HEIGHTS — The Seaside Heights Business Improvement District will hold its annual Mardi Gras and Seafood Festival Weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, borough officials said.

"Let the Good Times Roll" will kick off from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with a bed race down the boardwalk between local businesses. Friday and Saturday will feature a two-night, 15-bar scavenger hunt through the borough, and a business decorating competition will be held Saturday. There will be family entertainment from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. along the boardwalk with face painters, stilt walkers, jugglers and musical entertainment, followed by fireworks.

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday is the Seafood in Seaside Festival on Grant Avenue. Also on Sunday is the Great Atlantic Ocean Triathlon, which starts at 7 a.m. at Hiering Avenue, and the Vintage Automobile Club Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Bay Boulevard.
